Process

We, at Olitia, not just pack freshness of olive tea leaves. We do more than that. Every step is an effort to create a memorable experience for you when you finally take a sip of the olive tea. We ensure that nothing foul ever touches those leaves. For this, we go to the lengths of growing a sapling only in the lab controlled conditions. After cutting and carefully drying the leaves, our packaging keeps them garden-fresh. Simmer these leaves to shades of amber, and bask in the mellow richness as you whiff its aroma.

The olive plants are grown in cocopeat for the first year in a lab controlled environment. Cocopeat, a natural fibre made out of coconut husks, has the ability to store and release nutrient to plants for long time. It prevents any kind of bacterial and fungal growth.
After a year, these saplings are transferred to the ground where they grow to be beautifully branched olive trees.
The silvery green leaves are plucked from the plants when they are in their ideal sizes. Neither too small nor too big. The hands, which have been doing this since ages, pick out the soft leaves with the right aroma and best medicinal properties.
These leaves are then washed in ozone water to remove all the impurities.
After the detoxification, tailor-made machinery is used for squeezing, crushing and curling to make a suitable formulation.
The leaves are then slowly dried at a specific temperature to enhance the health properties and retain the vital essence of the olive leaves .
We lock the freshness of the olive leaves in nitrogen flushed sachets. Our three-layered hygienic packing preserves the crucial values.
