Dharampal Gadhwal is a visionary agripreneur driven by a deep passion for agriculture, sustainability, and rural empowerment. His journey began with research on Jatropha as a biofuel crop, where he explored innovative solutions for renewable energy and sustainable farming. Guided by a mission to strengthen Indian agriculture with modern technology and ancient wisdom, he later shifted his focus to one of the world’s most resilient and revered crops — the Olive.
Collaborating with Israeli agriculture experts, he played a key role in introducing and cultivating olive trees in Rajasthan’s arid terrain. During his research, Dharampal discovered a remarkable fact — the olive tree can live up to 8,000 years. This sparked a deep curiosity, leading him to study olives at the scientific, cultural, and health levels. His research revealed that olive leaves are enriched with powerful phenols that work as nature’s elixir for human health.
With extensive study and scientific validation, he pioneered value-added products from olive leaves in India. Today, his flagship innovations include:
Olive Tea – a natural antioxidant-rich beverage known for immunity and metabolic health
Bone Health Supplement – a breakthrough formulation proven to generate new bone cells, helping reverse osteopenia and osteoporosis
His transformative vision has not only unlocked a new wellness category in India but also created a positive socio-economic impact. With over 11 lakh olive trees flourishing in Rajasthan, Dharampal has built a sustainable ecosystem by procurement of olive leaves directly from farmers, ensuring recurring income and crop value enhancement. His initiatives have empowered rural women, created livelihood opportunities, and strengthened the rural economy.
A strong advocate of environment-positive agriculture, Dharampal continues to work toward integrating modern agri-technology with ancient knowledge, building a future where Indian farming is sustainable, scientifically aligned, and globally relevant.
Dr. Sarika Sawhney
Dr. Sarika has always believed that a person without the knowledge of their origin is like a tree without roots. She has extensively researched the Indian culture and the traditional practices. In her research, she has realized that the way to a happy and healthy life is through the roots and traditions. Mother nature has all the resources to cater and provide for us if we care for her just as well. Having studied Naturopathy, she believes in staying Aarogya by consuming food grown the way nature intended it. With her research oriented approach, she wants to keep working for finding yet better techniques. She is the strongest pillar of Olitia and the mind behind all the amazing products. She is one of the co-founders and heads the R&D and manufacturing department. With her “never say NO” attitude she is a living example of how continuous struggle and hustle can take you places all over the world.
